Chances And Services for Youth is a presenting sponsor for Lemonade Day, a national movement to inspire young entrepreneurs. The mission of Lemonade Day is to help prepare local youth for life through fun and experiential programs loaded with life skills, character education, and entrepreneurship. By working through a strategic lesson-based program, children set a goal, create a business plan, and start their very own lemonade stand. Lemonade Day inspires kids to work hard and make a profit, but it also teaches them to spend some, save some and share some by giving back to their community. Lemonade Day doesn’t pair mentors and children, but it inspires people to step up and DO SOMETHING by leading a child already in their lives through the steps of starting, owning, and operating their very own business – a lemonade stand! Lemonade Day provides the tools, encouragement, and support needed to have a great mentoring experience.
