Meet our Child Care Resource and Referral staff!

Natalie Pugh – Director of Child Care Resource and Referral

Natalie has over 35 years of experience in the field and over 18 years experience in Child Care Resource and Referral. As the Director of CCR&R, she strives to lead her dynamic staff in providing the best possible services to clients. Natalie has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and her Master’s Degree in Leadership Development. She utilizes that knowledge, and her years of experience, while working with state and local partners to improve the infrastructure of early care and education in Indiana. Heather Campbell – Family Engagement Specialist

Heather has spent the previous 10 years networking with local agencies and   connecting families with those needed resources.  With experience throughout the years working with a diverse population, she has learned to tailor services to fit the individual’s needs.  Heather is eager to provide your program with needed trainings and education, as well as one-on-one assistance, utilizing her experience as well as her education in Psychology and Early Childhood and Family Life. Kati Colvin – Community Engagement Specialist

Kati has a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing from the Scott College of Business at Indiana State University. Her background is in Human Resources and  staffing. Then the world of early education found her.  She was a new mother who was having difficulty finding child care, lived in a new city and was in search of a job. After she learned about Child Care Resource and Referral services Kati knew this was the right job for her. Kati now educates families and communities about the importance of Early Learning. Kristi Burkhart – Program Engagement Specialist

Kristi has a background working with children preschool through school age in the childcare setting, private preschool setting, to public school setting. She holds a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Adult Education and is available to assist programs in navigating I-LEAD, finding resources, and making connects to the supports programs need. Amy Marine – Family/Community Engagement

Amy has a Bachelors degree in Recreation Management with a concentration in Education and is finishing her Masters degree in Elementary Education with a focus in early childhood education.  She has served children and families in the ECE field for many years.  She strives to connect families to quality early care and education and partner with communities on the awareness of early learning. Ryan Hart- Community Engagement Specialist

Ryan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Ball State University and a background in sales, marketing and nonprofit management.  His passion is sharing about the profound and informational impact investments in early childhood education can have on entire communities.  As a father of two, Ryan leverages his personal experience as well as his professional background to help improve access to high quality child care and to spread awareness of the importance of early brain development.
